I have practiced yoga for nearly ten years and gained my teachers qualification through the British wheel of yoga.

I teach gentle Hatha yoga with a focus on the breath, calming the mind and relaxation.

I have been a Yoga teacher since 1998, with a Diploma from the Institute of Yoga in Milan and later integrated my studies with BWY in UK.
I am a qualified Stottpilates matwork instructor since 2007 and in 2013 became a Zen-ga instructor and in 2014 for Exercise for Older people.
My passion for African dance led me to join the Kaidara Dance Company in Turin, Italy 1997-1999 performing in various theatre in Italy and abroad. I still dance and teach African Dance, Belly Dance and Zumba.

I was first introduced to yoga 27 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child, this was to be the start of a lifelong passion for me.

I became certified under The British Wheel of yoga in 2005.I am a qualified Occupational therapist and a specialist stroke therapist.

I teach in the Hatha style of yoga with small and friendly classes to suit all abilities including beginners.

I have practised yoga for over 20 years and am an advanced level Sivananda teacher, having trained at the organisation’s ashrams in Austria, the Bahamas and India. Sivananda is an accessible, yet challenging form of yoga.

A typical class begins with breathing (pranayama), sun salutations and 12 basic asanas (but with countless variations). It ends with a deep relaxation.

Josephine received her diploma from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, India in 1983.
She also attended classes at the Iyengar Yoga Institute, London with senior teachers. Josephine taught in London from 1983 – 1993 and combines both disciplines in her classes.

I have practiced yoga for over 30 years and started teaching children's classes in 2005. I have experience of many yoga styles and trained for over 4 years with the British Wheel of Yoga to teach adult and pregnancy yoga.

I teach various styles over the course of the week but I ensure the classes are suitable for everyone of all abilities so that as many people as possible can benefit from the wonderful thing called yoga!

I started yoga as a way to stretch out tight muscles after running but then I became a regular practitioner completing my 200 hour vinyasa yoga teacher certification in 2014 and a 80 hour yin yoga training.

I love the physical and mental release that a challenging and balanced yoga practice provides. Yoga is about connecting with yourself. I hope to help all students find that experience.

As a Medical Doctor the physical, mental and emotional benefits of Yoga are clear to me.
My aim is to share these aspects with a great emphasis on combining the work on the BODY with that of the BREATH and the MIND.

Together these can and do have a profound influence on the state of the mind and beyond.
Yoga Philosophy informs my own practice and I aim to share some aspects of this which helps to integrate each class into a coherent whole.

I have been teaching modified Pilates for 5 years and been a Physiotherapist for 8. I am an APPI Pilates instructor. Our emphasis is based on tailoring each exercise for the individual by visual or verbal cues and hands on adjustments.

I have specialised in matwork with a variety of equipment and am qualified to teach people who have back pain, post surgery, management of sports injuries, post natal strengthening, osteoarthritis amoung many other conditions.

Mirja (pronounced Mirrya) loves practicing and teaching yoga, and is overwhelmed by the fulfilment and happiness yogic life brings.

She studied with a Swami and a local yoga master in India for a couple of months in villages of Tamil Nadu. Since then she has been practicing yoga in its many forms every day.
In 2011 Mirja trained as a yoga teacher in the Integral Yoga tradition. Since then she has studied, practiced and taught Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin styles of yoga.

I started practicing yoga in 2008. I am passionate about sharing yoga with others.

My Hatha classes are open to all, are themed & focus on breath and alignment in order to find steadiness in mind and body.

My Jivamukti yoga classes are in Vinyasa style where the poses flow and are coordinated by the breath. The classes are dynamic and you will often break a sweat, they incorporate Yogic philosophy, chanting, pranayama, meditation, & hands on adjustment with inspiring music.

I have been involved in spiritual development for many years: I trained in Reiki, holistic massage, Indian head massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. Although I loved them all, nothing has had quite the impact on my heart like the gongs.

The first gong bath I attended (which I knew nothing about at the time), left a lasting impression when I felt the effect on a cellular level – the feeling was awesome.

I am eager to share the magic of the gongs as widely as possible.
